Dear Fellow Africans,
There is an urgent need for a continental African political party. A political party that transcends African State boundaries will
enable massive mobilization of the African People towards total African unification, emancipation and development.  Just as the
early CPP, a trans-ethnic political party in Ghana, was able to mobilize Ghanaians to achieve rapid independence, a trans-
African political party will be able to bring the African People together to achieve rapid and meaningful political and economic
independence for all Africans everywhere. For this reason, the UAO is proposing to all Africanist Political Parties to become UAPP
– The United Africa Peoples Party. UAO is appealing to the African political party that believes in the imperative of African
Unification and Democracy and in the urgent need for African Harmony and Cooperation to merge with UAPP. UAO is proposing
UAPP to unite all political parties in Africa and all Africans committed to President Kwame Nkrumah’s ideals of a continental
African government. UAO calls on all Africanist to join in the political mobilization of the African masses towards unification,
emancipation and development.  In effect, UAO is calling on Africanist Political Parties to be on the forefront of the impending
greatest political mobilization in African history.

To mobilize the African People today, it is important for the name, the symbol, the motto, the message and the mantra of the
party to constantly evoke the cardinal objective of the party; hence the name UAPP. It is important because more and more
Africans in every region of Africa are accepting African unification as indispensable to African development. The growing
acceptance indicates that the name UAPP will resonate with the African masses while ensuring unambiguous dissemination of
the benefits of African unification to the African. The name UAPP, therefore, will facilitate rapid mobilization of the masses
towards unification, emancipation and development. The party’s symbol is a solid handshake across Africa on a background of
rainbow colors signifying the importance of peace and reconciliation amongst all Social Groups in Africa. The party’s motto -
“Peace & Prosperity in Unity & Democracy” signifies the imperative of African Unification and Democracy to achieving
sustainable Peace and Prosperity in Africa. The election message to all electorates in Africa is “United Africa is Peace and
Prosperity for you”.  The party’s mantra - “United Africa Now!” underscore the urgency of creating United Africa today since the
political and the economic wellbeing of every African in every African Village, Community, Locality, Province, Region or State  is
greatly dependent on the existence of one democratic, continental African nation.  

The proposed UAPP is a Pan African movement and committed to the following:
  • Total African Unification since a continental African government will be better able to develop Africa for all Africans.
  • African control of the African economy in order to emancipate Africa from the clutches of inimical global systems.
  • Meaningful African sovereignty in order  to place the  destiny of Africa in the hands of Africans.
  • Peace & Prosperity for every African irrespective of ethnic, social, political or racial affiliation.
  • The freedom and dignity of every African everywhere – in the Homeland Africa and in the Diaspora Africa.

UAO believes sincerely that African development is immensely contingent on the existence of one African continental
government which intend is contingent on the existence of seriously functioning African continental political parties. That is why
UAO is appealing to all Africans who subscribe to the ideology of African Unification & Democracy to join UAPP and all Africanist
Political Parties to become UAPP.
