The Africanist Papers
........ a call to the masses of Africa
Africanist Papers advocate African Harmony & African Cooperation. The Papers present ideas on unification, democracy and development
suitable to the African condition. These Ideas pertinent to the political and economic advancement of Africa that are floating around should
find a channel to the African masses. Ideas, old and new, are valuable source of knowledge capable of galvanizing the masses to bring about
fundamental change in Africa. Powerful ideas if presented to the masses, ideologically, enhances the power of the masses to compel change
by providing knowledge and awareness to the grassroots. The United African Organization recognizes the power of good ideas in the hands of
the masses and seeks to disseminate such ideas to the African People through UAO Worldwide Chapter Groups. Africanist Papers are posted
here in an efforts to share ideas with the African People. Papers are not edited. A Paper must not be more than 30 pages long. Incendiary
papers will not be accepted.

Global Africana
The Final Destination of Pan-Africanism
By Papa Yalae
Over the past four decades, Africans everywhere suffered global domination despite the existence of Organization of African Unity
(OAU) and regional economic groupings such as the Economic Organization of West African States (ECOWAS), the East African
Union (EAU), The Maghreb Union and the South African Trade Union. The limited capabilities of post-independent organizations
have precipitated the recent formation of the African Union (AU) and the New Partnership for African Development (NEPAD). But,
like prior organizations, neither AU nor NEPAD provide maximum capabilities to elevate Africans to any higher level of
development due to inherent structural deficiencies. Additionally, the multiplicity of regional economic groupings within a loose
union provides inadequate solutions to problems confronting Africans. Organizations susceptible to African disunity and external
infiltration to perpetuate African disunity do not generate enough strength to meet the ever-present global challenges that undergo
perennial camouflaged metamorphosis. This paper propounds a solid alliance as the answer to the global challenges
confronting Africans everywhere. These challenges, notably, are neo-colonialism, globalization, IMF/World Bank economic
dictatorship and economic balkanization. The solid alliance is Global Africana - the political and economic unification within
Homeland Africa and the political alliance and economic integration between Homeland Africa and Diaspora Africa. Global
Africana, therefore, is the final destination of Pan-Africanism, the philosophy underpinning the journey towards African Unification
and Trans Africa Alliance. The paper expounds the enormous capabilities of Global Africana to transform Homeland and Diaspora
Africa from a status of global insignificance to a status of global prominence and reveals that Global Africans confront the same
impediment - international marginalization that obliterates the capacity to garner political and economic clout. Indubitably, the
imperative of overcoming the marginalization of Global Africa requires the creation of a solid common political and economic
platform, which is Global Africana, the solid alliance of Homeland Africa and Diaspora Africa.

President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah
The 1st President of Ghana 1957 - 1966
Paper Written By :
Papa Yalae
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the imperative need to revive Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s call for “A United Africa” and to
propose a unification model that will be most appropriate for Africa and most acceptable to Africans, given the unique socio-
political diversity of Africa. The proposal is in response to Dr. Nkrumah’s call for a total political union of the African People.
Inarguably, a meaningful African political union requires a major transformation of Africa. Accordingly, the theme of the paper is
fundamental change in Africa. The paper discusses how the revival of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s plea for African Unity and the
acceptance of the proposed unification model will transform Africa into a respected global geopolitical entity free from debilitating
political and economic problems. The paper is a summarization of my two books – “The Road to a New Africa. An Essay to the
Africa People” and “ Neo-Africanism. The New Ideology for a New Africa”. The paper is a Message and a Proposal to the African
People. The message is a plea for African Unity and the proposal is a plea for African Democracy.
